Picking Brains

I make a podcast for animation students (especially those at BYU). It's still small and obscure, but I'm really excited about this episode. I got to interview Jake Wyatt and Anthony Holden before they finished up here at the Y.

It's always helpful for students to learn from their senior classmates, and Jake and Anthony are no exception. Plus they're REEEAALLY good at what they do. Check out their blogs and see for yourself.

I sincerely hope you learn as much from them as I did in this hour-long interview.

(Big thanks again to Jake and Anthony!)

Video Games = Educational

In my ongoing efforts to graduate, I am taking a technical writing class this summer. So far it hasn't exactly been my cup o' noodles, but this assignment was fun.

Thanks to Mark Hyzer for his Mario skills (and for fixing one stubborn frame).

More from the sketchbook.

I am an animator too (I promise!). I just can't post anything I'm working on (very hush hush).

Lovin' me some ballpoint

Hypothesis: The level of cleanliness a drawing possesses is inversely proportional to the amount of fun the artist has while creating said drawing.
